How far in advance do i need to order?
Sweet Mia’s books occasion cakes 2-4 weeks in advance, we recommend ordering your cake as soon as you know the details! Once a weekend is fully booked we are not able to take any more cakes. Large orders should be booked at least 1-2 months in advance to avoid disappointment. Last minute orders may be available if space allows.
When can i pick up?
We ask that you please adhere to the time you are given to pick up your order. If there is a special event or holiday happening on the day of your custom order and you do not wish to purchase anything additional from the case, you may go directly to the registers to receive your order and finish payment.
do you deliver?
Sweet Mia’s DOES NOT deliver, all cakes must be picked up at our shop. (Wedding cakes may be delivered within Southington depending on availability)
DO YOU OFFER GLUTEN FREE?
Yes, but not always. It’s best to check our daily menu for gluten free items or contact our shop. If you would like to place a custom order we would be more than happy to go over details with you.
DO YOU OFFER DAIRY FREE and vegan?
No, unfortunately we do not specialize in these items.
DO YOU OFFER FONDANT covered CAKES?
Unfortunately, we are no longer covering our cakes in fondant. We use Buttercream, Cream Cheese or Whipped Frosting. We are able to give any frosted covered cake a clean and sleek look to resemble fondant.
DO YOU OFFER 3D Gumpaste decorations? and cake toppers?
No, we do not create 3D or 4D gum paste decorations for cakes. Some fondant items can be made please reference them when requesting a cake. Please keep in mind that these objects take much time to create. All other items such as toppers must be provided by the customer.
